Beginning May 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM, ETSU Facilities will initiate a campus-wide steam line shutdown. This shutdown will remain in effect throughout the summer break, with the steam system scheduled to be brought back online starting August 17, 2026.
Domestic Hot Water Impact (May 9 – May 25):
During the first two weeks of the shutdown, the following buildings will NOT have domestic hot water:
Please note: This outage is due to an ongoing project to install new Central Plant water heaters serving these facilities.
Heating Systems:
Heating systems in all main campus buildings will be turned OFF for the duration of the shutdown.
