Campus Advisory – Main Campus Utility Impacts

Please review the following planned utility activities and potential impacts on Main Campus:
1. Campus-Wide Domestic Water Leak Detection
December 15–16
Domestic water leak detection will be conducted and will require quiet conditions across campus. To reduce ground noise, chilled water may be turned off intermittently. Impacts to building operations are expected to be minimal.
If a leak is identified, a domestic water shutdown may be required during the Christmas break.
2. Brooks Gym & The Tree House – Domestic Water Shutdown
December 15
A domestic water shutdown will occur at Brooks Gym and The Tree House to repair a leak in the Brooks Gym basement. This repair will involve asbestos removal.
Sodexo operations in The Tree House will not be affected, as the facility will be closed during this time.
3. Dome – Domestic Cold Water Shutdown
December 15 | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
A 3-inch domestic cold-water line will be shut down on the east side of the Dome during this time.
4. Hutchenson Hall – Water Heater Installation
December 15 | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
A water heater will be installed in Hutchenson Hall.
