ITS will begin transitioning analog devices to RingCentral at 11:00 AM and continuing through 4:30 PM on Wednesday, July 24 for the following areas:
Analog devices will disconnect for approximately two hours for each area during this transition. When they reconnect, the new RingCentral dialing rules will take effect, no longer requiring fax or analog phone users in these areas to dial 8 to connect to an outside line. However, the area code will still be required for all off campus calls. Users should also update any speed dials that were using dialing rules from the previous phone system (Cisco).
