Update - July 11, 2020, 8:00 am: The ETSU phone service carrier has indicated resolution of service. ITS will continue to test our system throughout the weekend to ensure all circuits have been restored and are functioning properly. Please report any issues to ITShelp@etsu.edu.
Update - July 10, 2020, 8:35 pm: The ETSU phone service providers have determined the issue causing the phone outage is beyond their Central Office in Knoxville and is actually between Atlanta and Chattanooga. The provider's Network Operations Control team is working to further isolate the problem. Updates will be provided as they become available.
Update - July 10, 2020, 4:39 pm: ITS continues to work with both providers to resolve the issue. Incident has been escalated. Please continue to check back for updates.
Update - July 10, 2020, 11:15 am: Windstream service provider has confirmed an issues in a network operations center. Provider has technicians on site working on the problem. Updates will be posted here as available.
Phone service on ETSU campus is inoperative. Both inbound calling and outbound calling are unavailable. Internal campus calls are operable. We are working with our service provider to restore service. No ETA is currently available. Updates will be posted here as they become available.
