ETSU is currently experiencing a voice communications outage preventing both inbound and outbound calls on the main campus. Our telecommunications carrier is reporting a statewide outage that is impacting our service. We currently have no ETA for repair.
3/5/2020 11:30 pm UPDATE: Service has been restored, however, interruptions may be experienced for the next few hours until we receive confirmation from our carrier that repairs are completed.
3/6/2020 7:00 am UPDATE 2: Repairs continue on storm damaged fiber resulting from the recent Nashville tornadoes. Outbound and inbound calls are still affected by the repairs. If you encounter a problem placing a long-distance call to or from campus, please keep trying. Although service is not 100% functional, calls are succeeding more often than not.
