ETSU's telecommunications group has confirmed that Verizon is experiencing technical issues with their telephone service. Both local and long-distance calls handled by Verizon are intermittently failing to complete. Verizon has not supplied an estimated time for repair of this issue. If you are a subscriber of Verizon mobile or one of its MVNO services (Net10, Straight Talk, Xfinity or Spectrum Mobile, and others) and your calls to ETSU phone numbers are failing to connect, please report these failures to your mobile carrier.
