ETSU's Johnson City campus telephone service is currently experiencing intermittent service interruptions. Our telephone service carrier is working on total restoration of service. Until our provider's issues have been resolved, there could be interruptions in the ability to place or receive calls off-campus or to mobile phones throughout the next few days.
The ITS staff is working closely with our carrier to get the problems resolved as quickly as possible. There is currently no estimated time to completion. Updates will be posted here. Please contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@etsu.edu or 439-4648 with any questions.
Update: At times, attempting to call regional off-campus numbers results in an error message. During those times, there might be a temporary workaround. Try adding 1-423 to the number (example: 8-1-423-929-9191). If the workaround is successful, then these regional calls do not require a long-distance PIN.
