Today, several students have made reports to ETSU Public Safety about a suspicious email. The email tells the student to reply with their username and password due to an email server upgrade.
This is not legitimate. It
is an attempt to steal your credentials. Please delete the email.
OIT has reported this to the appropriate authorities and put blocks in place to prevent additional emails from this sender.
If you have already responded, please reset your password immediately by going to http://webmail.etsu.edu and choosing "Activate your account or change your password".
