Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm OIT will be performing an upgrade on communications equipment that provides data and phone service for all ETSU remote locations. Brief intermittent outages are expected during this period for all the affected circuits.
The following sites will be affected by this upgrade:
Watauga Regional Library – Data Kingsport University Center – Data Nave Center – Data Gray Fossil Site – Data and Phone Child Study Center – Data and Phone Observatory – Data Downtown Clinic – Data Greeneville Center – Data Keystone Community Center – Data Mountain City Health Clinic – Data Softball Field – Data Valleybrook – Data
We are making every effort to minimize the interruption to data and phone services during this upgrade, however, if you are in an area affected by this upgrade and you find that your data or phone service has not been restored by 8:00 pm Thursday evening, please contact the OIT Help Desk at oithelp@etsu.edu or 439-4648 to report the outage.
