This policy establishes East Tennessee State University's institutional framework for identifying, disclosing, reviewing, managing, and reporting financial conflicts of interest in Sponsored Activities. The policy is intended to promote objectivity and integrity in the design, conduct, and reporting of Sponsored Activities and to protect the rights, welfare, and safety of human participants and animal subjects.
ETSU administers its Financial Conflict of Interest Program in accordance with applicable law, regulation, award terms, and sponsor requirements. Financial conflict of interest reviews are coordinated, as applicable, with ETSU's Institutional Review Board and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee.
